Job Description

We are seeking a Business Manager with strong marketing and business development experience. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will support business strategy, go-to-market (GTM) planning and execution, and day-to-day operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated professional to develop broad business capabilities while making a meaningful impact in the healthcare space.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis to strengthen business and go-to-market (GTM) strategies and plans. 
• Develop and maintain financial models that align business operations, product development, and customer acquisition efforts.  
• Manage marketing activities and create sales and marketing collateral.
• Manage day-to-day tasks such as the company website and social media.
• Work with the CEO to develop and optimize sales pipelines and playbooks. 
• Identify prospects and leads to support customer outreach and engagement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain the databases of the marketing-qualified leads (MQL), sales-qualified leads (SQL), and customers.
• Support funding and other program applications and partnership initiatives. 
• Collaborate with the QA&RA and R&D teams to continuously improve the company’s Quality Management system (QMS) 
• Assist the CEO with recruiting, onboarding, and the improvement of internal operational processes.
• Assist the CEO in fundraising and due diligence activities.
• Other duties when assigned

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in market research, competitive analysis, and business analysis. 
• 3+ years of experience in business or GTM strategy development and execution.
• Solid understanding of customer discovery, validation, and product–market fit.
• Strong knowledge of sales cycle, pipeline development, and lead management.
• Experience using marketing content creation and CRM tools, such as Canva and HubSpot, or others. 
• Experience with financial modeling and budgeting.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and cross-functional coordination.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice-to-have Qualifications

• Experience working in the MedTech or healthcare technology sector.

Job Description

We are looking for a strong candidate with machine learning experience in medical imaging (or image processing) to join our team as an ML Engineer to help with the development, deployment, and maintenance of our machine learning modules. These machine learning modules are used for reconstruction of MRI scans and are trained on terabyte-scale raw MRI datasets. This role will work closely with our engineering team to support building and deploying our machine learning pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Curation and preprocessing of large and complex MRI scan data.
• Design, implementation, and optimization of ML models using mainstream AI/ML frameworks, with emphasis on medical image data.
• Development of efficient pipelines for training and testing models.
• Research and prototype new algorithms and paradigms, such as foundation models, self-supervised learning, generative models, etc.
• Integration of trained models with Foqus’ software solution.
• Design, implement, and evaluate data synthesis and augmentation strategies, including generative techniques.
• Hyperparameter tuning of the models and pipelines.
• Designing experiments for investigating and identifying parameters that influence model performance.
• Monitor the performance of deployed models and iterate on improvements
• Support the development of demos and implementation of pilots.
• Investigate technical problems, ensure design quality, provide recommendations, and lead solutions
• Documentation, including writing reports, papers, or patents.
• Help with filling out documents for our quality management systems (e.g., development procedures, validation reports, etc.)

Basic Qualifications

• University degree in an engineering or technical field, such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Familiarity or experience with modern architectures and training techniques, such as foundation models, generative AI, self-supervision, contrastive learning, etc.
• Proficiency in Python, both for library/package development and scripting.
• Solid knowledge and experience in machine learning and deep learning concepts, both in theory and application.
• Proficiency in PyTorch.
• Linux development experience.
• Understanding of version control best practices.
• Experience with data preprocessing.
• Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.

Nice-to-have Qualifications

• Knowledge of MRI physics or experience with MRI data/techniques.
• Knowledge of CI/CD techniques and technologies.
• Experience with handling medical data, especially MRI scans and MRI raw data.
• Experience in High-Performance Computing, Parallel Programming, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., for setting up training tasks).
• Experience working in a regulated industry (medical device industry preferred).

Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of our application software. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the software and drive changes according to company needs and the changing technology landscape. As you progress, this role may evolve into a core leadership position on our engineering team.

In this role, you will interact closely with our machine learning team to integrate our machine learning models into our software product. You will also interact closely with our QA&RA team to make sure that we remain compliant with the standards and regulatory expectations for software as a medical device (SaMD).

Responsibilities

Requirement Development and Discovery:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify project requirements and engage in the discovery phase.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, ML engineers, and the QA&RA team to identify new and changing requirements, as well as opportunities for improvements.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and software architectures 

Development / Testing:

• Develop and maintain the backend frameworks (Nest.js, FastAPI), ensuring high performance, scalability, testability, and reliability.
• Design and implement user-friendly interfaces using React.js, utilize state management tools, and collaborate with the development team to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure our software is secure by applying cybersecurity best-practices and reviewing security architectures.
• Maintain software quality, write tests, participate in code reviews, and document technical details and changes.

Team Leadership and Mentorship:

• Grow into a team lead role and manage junior developers, including co-op students.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to foster professional growth within the team.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay updated with new technologies and industry trends, applying that knowledge to enhance our software applications.

Core Competencies

• 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, preferably in senior-level or leadership roles. However, we are looking for quality of experience rather than an arbitrary quantity.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Nest.js, and React.
• Experience in REST API design and implementation, including security considerations.
• Proficient with Docker and docker-compose.
• Experience with MongoDB.
• Familiarity with validation frameworks (zod, joi, yup).
• Familiarity with frontend design and frameworks (RxJs, Material UI).
• Experience with Git and project management tools (Jira).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Github Actions.
• Experience working in Linux environments.

Nice-to-have Qualifications

• Experience developing software for a regulated industry (preferably medical).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and implementation of secure software.
• DevOps experience, including implementing CI/CD pipelines, designing integration tests, and/or automating build/release/deployment processes.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting container-based applications on customer systems, including issues with firewalls, permissions, and hardware.
• Knowledge of DICOM medical image standards. MRI modality preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based applications and/or cloud migration.
• Experience with Python and/or machine learning (particularly deep learning) may be helpful.
